Lolie Eccles Early Education Center at the YWCA Utah is excited to announce our 2023 summer camp program for children ages 5-12! This year, Summer Camp hours are from 7:30 a.m to 5:30 p.m.
The YWCA Summer Camp seeks to create a well-rounded summer of learning, fun, and adventure! Our program provides daily field trips, awesome activities, a sense of community and long-lasting friendships when you leave.
Morning and afternoon snacks are included. Bring your own lunch and water bottle.

Outings & Activities
When we aren't out and about for each week's themed activities, we will utilize the equipment and many play areas that our YWCA campus offers. With a fully equipped gym space, open green space field, and playground, we will play organized games, team-building activities, and give the children plenty of creative free-play. We will also benefit from a classroom that is fully furnished with games, books, computers, learning activities, and creative art supplies to embrace your child's interests. We are also partnering with some amazing local programs, including Westminster College's Health, Wellness and Athletic Center and Wasatch Community Gardens.
Tuition
2021 Summer Camp Tuition is $250/week when camp falls on a short week due to a holiday, 80% of the full week fee will be charged. Summer camp registration is for the full week and is not available on a per-day basis.

2023 SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITY WEEKS
Week 1: Summer Extravaganza June 12-16
Welcome to the most epic summer camp ever - the YWCA Summer Extravaganza! Get ready to soar to new heights as we kick off our summer with an exhilarating climbing adventure at Sugar House Park! Get your game face on and team up with your new buddies for an action-packed field day filled with exciting games, challenging obstacle courses, and awesome crafts. We'll end the week with a bang with a trip to Discovery Gateway, where we'll dive into the endless fun of their infamous splash pad!
Week 2: Mad Scientist! June 19-23
Grab your lab coat, because this week is going to be all about SCIENCE! Become a junior chemist as we make potions, slime, and cook all things gooey! Test physics as we try not to crack any eggs with an egg drop, shoot off rockets, and take a visit to Jump Around Utah! We'll become zoologists as we adventure to Hogle Zoo and Tracy Aviary!
Week 3: Creepy Crawlies June 26- 30
This week is all about bugs! Get up close with the creepy crawlers in our backyard as we go on nature walks throughout the Wasatch Front. Are you brave enough to hold a hissing cockroach or tarantula when we get a visit from Scales and Tales? Cool off as we jump like a cricket on over to Magna Splash Pad!
Week 4: Imaginators and Innovators July 5-7
Join us as we explore the world of science with Little Beakers. Think you have what it takes to build the fastest Lego car ever? Let's put it to the test with Bricks and Minifigs! But wait, we're not done yet! Grab your swimsuits for a splashtastic time at Ivory Ridge Splash Pad. And last but not least, we'll head over to Wheeler Farm where you can live out your dreams of being a farmer for the day.
Week 5: The Creative Crusade July 10-14
Calling all creators! Let's put your skills to the test as we design and build at the incredible Leonardo Museum. Think you have what it takes to become the next fashionista? Get in touch with your inner designer and create your own stylish shirt, tie dye socks, and create your own jewelry! But wait, we're not done yet! Don't forget your water shoes as we head to the amazing Legacy Splash Pad where you can cool off and have a blast in the water!
Week 6: Mystery Mayhem July 17-21
Get ready to unleash your inner detective skills and test your senses as we play some challenging guessing games. Grab your super soakers and let's splash our way to an awesome time with some water day fun! Think you know the truth about classic myths? Let's put them to the test and find out if they're fact or fiction! Then, hop on our time machine as we travel back in time to visit the amazing dinosaurs at Ogden Dino Park. We’ll end the week with a visit to Vineyard splash pad.
Week 7: Lights, Camera, Action! July 25-28
Welcome to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood! Get ready to shine like a star and show off your talents in our very own Lolie Eccles talent show! Let's add some magic to the mix! Be dazzled by an incredible magic show that will leave you wondering - how did he do it? Let's keep the adventure going as we explore the amazing Museum of Natural Curiosity where your curiosity can't stop, won't stop! And of course, we can't forget about splashing around at a fan favorite, Magna Splash Pad.
Week 8: Underwater Odyssey July 31- August 4
Dive into Adventure with Ariel and the Merfriends! Get ready for an explosive time as we test who can build the most explosive volcano. Arrrgh, it's Pirate Day, so grab your eye patches and join us as we set sail on our pirate ship. We’ll finish the week off playing pirate theme games and getting drenched at Vineyard Grove Park and Splash Pad.
Week 9: Last Blast of Summer August 7-11
Get ready for a fantastic finale to your summer at Lolie Eccles! We're kicking things off with a visit from the interactive Mad Scientist, who's sure to show us some mind-bending experiments. What better way to cool off from the summer heat than with some classic water games that will have you splashing and laughing all day long! Then, it's time to reach for the stars as we explore the wonders of the universe at the Clark Planetarium. Finally, we'll say goodbye to summer in style with a pizza party and one of our all-time favorite movies.
